Haryana Police Recruitment for 400 SPO Posts, Apply from August 24

Haryana Police Recruitment 2023 Notification for 400 Special Police Officers (SPOs) has been released. This recruitment shall be made in Haryana Police Telecommunication Wing under Section 21 of the Haryana Police Act, 2007.

Haryana Police Vacancy 2026: Haryana Police has released the notification for recruitment to 400 posts of Special Police Officer. This recruitment will be done in Haryana Police Telecommunication Wing under Section 21 of Haryana Police Act, 2007. A press release to this effect was issued on Tuesday. This recruitment is open for eligible ex-servicemen of the armed forces and central armed police forces and former constables of the now disbanded HSISF and HP Battalion.

Application Dates for the District Wise Fixed

Candidates shall be required to report on the date fixed for their district for submission of their applications. Applications after the 13th will not be accepted. The schedule is:

August 27 Hisar, Fatehabad, Sirsa, Hansi, Jind and Dabwali

Candidates are required to report at Panchkula (near Police Line Telecommunication Sector-25, Village Mogeena) at 0900 hrs on the scheduled date.

Who is eligible?

Age Limit: According to notification 25 to 50 years.

Educational Qualification: Passed 12th class.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of service in armed forces or central armed police forces.

Discharge Conditions: The candidate should not have been discharged or dismissed from the service on the grounds of indiscipline, misconduct or medical/fitness reasons.

Medical Category: Should have been Medical Category ‘A’, at time of discharge.

Character Rating: The character rating to be reflected in the discharge certificate should be ‘Explanatory’ or ‘Outstanding’.

Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in operating telecommunication and devices, especially those who have served in the Signal Corps.

Salary and Selection Process

Selection for SPO posts will be based on Document Verification, Medical Examination and Character & Antecedents Verification. There will be no written examination/physical test for this recruitment.

Training: Selected candidates will be imparted a 15 days capsule training course.

Honorarium: Selected Special Police Officers will get an honorarium of ₹20,000 per month which will be credited to their bank account directly.

Uniform Allowance: A one-time uniform allowance of ₹ 3,000 will be provided as well.

TA/DA: A provision of Rs.150 per day for official tours.

Important Documents to be Submitted During Application

The candidates have to submit the following documents at the time of application:

Completed application form.

One set of attested photocopy of all original model documents.

# Affidavit requirement.

Four passport size photographs (coloured).

There will be no application fee for the candidates.

Duration of Appointment

The initial appointment of selected SPOs shall be for a period of 1 year. This period can be extended even more until regular appointments are made. SPO is not allowed to be posted to their home Police Station. However, preference for posting within their home district may be given subject to availability.
